WORKWEAR FOR BUS AND TRAIN DRIVERS
In 2023, we were able to equip the bus and train drivers of Bremer Straßenbahn AG and Delbus GmbH & Co. KG with completely new workwear.
The delivery at the end of 2023 was preceded by a lengthy process. With the start of a Europe-wide public tender, a comprehensive, sustainable collection was developed that had to meet many requirements:
- Reflection of the corporate identity
- Functionality
- High wearing comfort, especially in relation to seated work
- modern look
- sustainable materials
- socially just production
- reasonable price/performance ratio.
The collection includes a complete outfit for each employee consisting of an outdoor jacket, quilted vest, blazer, skirt, two different pairs of pants, polo shirts, shirts/blouses, 4 different knitwear items, ties, scarves, hats and shawls. All items were individually designed and developed according to the customer’s wishes and primarily manufactured in Europe. Wearing comfort, durability and sustainability played a key role in the selection of materials.
After selecting the right collection, we made samples that were worn by a handful of representative people. After finalizing all the details, a four-week fitting took place for each individual employee, during which everyone selected their favourite items and, above all, the right sizes. For employees who did not find a suitable item of clothing, the appropriate sizes were added. Only then did the individual garments go into production. Once production was complete and the quality of the workwear had been checked, suitable packages containing your items were packed for each individual BSAG and DELBUS employee and sent to your home.
