We offer sustainable clothing certified with the Green Button. Show responsibility when choosing your corporate fashion and employee clothing.
You are one of those people who want to know more about your textiles. That’s a good thing. By making conscious and responsible purchasing decisions, you as consumers can also support the transformation of the textile industry – so that the human rights of seamstresses and sewers are respected and the environment is protected.
The Green Button for sustainable clothing was presented for the first time on September 9, 2019. Even back then, there were 27 pioneering companies that carried products with the state textile seal. Two years later, there are already 78 companies that have a wide range of textile articles tested, from fashion and accessories, outdoor clothing and accessories to workwear and home textiles.
Since then, they have sold over 150 million products bearing the Green Button, which confirms that the label is attracting growing attention and approval: According to a survey by the GfK Consumer Panel Fashion, 93% of respondents think it is right for the German government to use a state seal to check compliance with social and ecological standards in the textile industry. 40 percent of respondents are familiar with the seal and 44 percent of these have already purchased at least one certified product.
Sustainable clothing is one way to reach your goal
The Green Button is constantly evolving to protect people and the environment even better – in perspective along the entire supply chain. An enhanced, even more sophisticated version of the seal will be presented at the end of the year.
Good for people and for the environment: the state Green Button seal makes it easier to recognize sustainable textiles – and has been doing so for two years now.
